Mission: To develop on a sustainable basis, competencies in the fields of macroeconomic, debt and financial sector management among the staff of central banks, ministries of finance and economic planning as well as other public sector institutions with core economic management responsibilities.
Vision: To be one of the best regional capacity building institutions in macroeconomic, debt and Financial management.
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT |
The Institute has the following facilities and equipment at its disposal to conduct training programmes: Three air-conditioned classrooms each with fourty seat capacity with state of the art teaching aids and internet access; Computer laboratory equipped with 20 work stations and UPS. The computers are also linked through a network; they contain econometric software such as latest version of E-views, PC-Give etc and debt recording software such as CS-DRMS. The computers have Internet access; Teaching aids, including multi media projectors for power point and video projection; Four syndicate (breakout) rooms for group discussions; Fully equipped library with internet access; Fourty self contained air-conditioned rooms for participants, each room equipped with TV and fridge; Two heavy duty photocopying machines; Gymnasium, lawn tennis court and other sporting facilities; Restaurant that can accommodate up to 50 persons; 25 KVA standby electricity generator; Secured compound with 24 hours security patrol and CCTV; Fleat of vehicles, including a thirty seater air-conditioned bus; and Binding machine and scanners. The Institute actively seeks out collaborating partners wishing to use these facilities as a platform to reach out to Nigeria and the sub-region. |
